Friday Late - British Flowers Week at the Garden Museum

On Friday 14 June, the Museum will stay open late till 8pm for an evening viewing of British Flowers Week, a week-long floral exhibition in partnership with founders New Covent Garden Market, the UK’s premier flower supplier.

Celebrating the beauty and variety of British flowers, the exhibition will showcase innovative horticultural sculptures by five of the country’s top floral designers – Ruth Davis from All for Love London, Terri Chandler and Katie Smyth from Worm, Graeme Corbett from Bloom & Burn, Rowan Lewis of Rowan Blossom and Carly Rogers of Carly Rogers Flowers. The original site-specific installations are being designed in response to various nooks, arches and walkways within the Museum.

Also open to discover on your flower-filled evening will be two vibrant artist-gardener exhibitions, Ivon Hitchens: The Painter in the Woods, and our new exhibition opening that day, George Rowlett: Paintings of Sarah Price’s Garden.

One glass of wine or soft drink included in your ticket price. A drinks bar will be open in the Nave, and the Garden Cafe will be open serving a seasonal menu of fresh summer dishes with quality ingredients.
