Pentillie Castle have teamed up with Miranda Hackett Flowers and The Gardens Trust for the Repton 200 celebrations (Celebrating Humphry Repton) with a guided garden walk, floral workshop and two-course lunch
Join us for a celebration of Humphry Repton during British Flowers Week, with a guided walk by Pentillie Castle's Ted Coryton through the Repton designed Pentillie gardens. During the tour there will be the opportunity to pick foliage and branches to use at the floral workshop, which will follow after refreshments.
At the workshop artisan florist, Miranda Hackett, will demonstrate how to create a beautiful, softly designed hand-tied bouquet, in the very fashionable loose and eccentric style. Flowers and foliage will be seasonal and sourced from local growers with foliage pickings from the morning in the Pentillie gardens. With Miranda's guidance it will then be the guests' turn to create their own bouquets to take home.
The day will finish with a delicious 2 course lunch and a glass of wine in the Castle dining room. There will also be an opportunity to view Pentillie's Repton Red Book during the day.
Cost: £110 pp which covers everything for the day.
