GARDEN MUSEUM, LONDON: FIVE FLORISTS, FIVE DESIGNS - CELEBRATING BRITISH FLOWERS WEEK
We grow a wealth of beautiful, fresh cut flowers and foliage in Britain and it's time to shout about it! Come and watch as five exceptionally creative, high profile florists - the stars of British Flowers Week 2015 - each create a stunning floral design and tell us about what inspires them to place such emphasis on using British-grown flowers as a way of standing out from the crowd. In conversation with the award-winning flower blogger, Rona Wheeldon of Flowerona.com will be:
Bloomsbury Flowers – Stephen Wicks
Jane Packer Flowers - Charlotte Slade
Jay Archer Floral Design – Jay Archer
That Flower Shop – Hattie Fox
Zita Elze Flowers – Zita Elze
British Flowers Week (15-19 June), now in its third year, encompasses events, promotions and competitions to celebrate the floral bounty of Britain and showcase the growing number of florists who are using it. New Covent Garden Flower Market (the founders and organisers of British Flowers Week) are delighted to be joining with The Garden Museum for this exciting event and we look forward to hearing the floral artists' insights into fragrance, freshness and seasonality.
